The Higher Level, not-for-profit organization, has added a Director of Programs, Janice Jones. Ms. Jones brings a
wealth of educational and leadership experience, having been a teacher, administrator and principal in the Chicago
Public Schools. She has a Masters degree, as well a B.A. in education and comes from a family of educators. She
developed, implemented and administered the Literacy Workshop at Alain Locke Charter Academy, located at 3141
W. Jackson Blvd. in Chicago. The Literacy Workshop operated an in-school reading tutoring program for third grade
students. Additionally, Ms. Jones served as an Early Childhood consultant for Locke's two preschool classrooms.
Fesup Sports Apparel is the primary source of athletic apparel for The Higher Level. Fesup provides our league
uniforms, t-shirts and other youth accessories. Fesup is committed to providing nothing less than top quality fabrics
and materials which make each Fesup garment an athletic masterpiece. Fesup is a new age clothing company that
focuses on "truth". Truth in every aspect of life "be true to yourself", be true to your dreams and most of all, be true to

The Higher Level was founded by A.P.M.C., Inc. Our not-for-profit organization will support today's youth through
the discipline of both mind and body, and through the wonderful game of basketball. The goal of The Higher Level
is for our youth to think on a higher level, play on a higher level and achieve on a higher level.

| What's new? The Southland Basketball Officials' Camp has opened registration for its spring and summer sessions. This camp is an IHSA CERTIFIED camp and will be held at Bloom High School. Classroom sessions will be May 22, 2010 at 10:am sharp! Registration must be received no later than 04-24-2010!
